  • 2010

    CBA received Institutional and programs accreditation by NCAAA for the period 2010-2017

  • 2017

    UBT obtained the Institutional Accreditation from NCAAA for the period 2017-2021

  • October 2018

    Signing the program accreditation agreement for 14 programs with the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation. Out of these 14 programs, 5 applied for renewal of their program accreditation (Accounting, finance, Marketing, Human Resources Management and Management Information Systems) and 9 applied for program accreditation for the first time (Insurance and risk management, Supply chain management, Civil Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Advertising management, Advertising communication and Advertising Creative Design).

  • 2019

    CBA becomes an educational partner for Bloomberg in partnership with the Misk foundation

  • 2020

    UBT launched the programs certificate Professional with a value of 15 million riyals to train 10,000 graduates and students in 18 specializations in line with the needs of the labor market and business

  • 2021

     UBT obtained Full Institutional Accreditation by NCAAA for the period 2021- 2024

    UBT received 10 Program Accreditation from NCAAA (Finance – Accounting – Business Analytics and management information system – Marketing – Supply Chain Management – Civil Engineering – Electronic Engineering – Industrial Engineering – Software Engineering – Advertising Creative Design)

    The Finance program at CBA has been awarded EFMD Accreditation for the period 2021-2024, making it the first program in the Middle East and Gulf region to receive this accreditation.

    UBT is ranked in the QS Arab region ranking 2021 in the category (131-160)

    UBT is rated as 5 stars institution by QS Intelligence Unit

    UBT became an official signatory of UN initiative – Principle of Responsible Management Education (PRME)It is the only private Saudi University that joined PRME

    UBT scored 52%above national KPIs in the private universities and colleges Quality Education Evaluation project

    UBT gained E-learning License in 2021 becoming the first private university in Saudi Arabia to gain it.

  • 2022

    UBT is ranked among the top 400 international universities for its distinguished efforts to achieve the United Nations goal of Decent Work and Economic Growth, according to the results of the Times International Impact Ranking 2022. Achieving fourth place nationally, a rank maintained for two consecutive years

    UBT announced the accreditation of 6 more BSc. programs from the National Center of Evaluation and Academic Accreditation

    UBT ranked for the second consecutive year in the QS Arab Region Ranking (121-130)

  • 2023

    Signing an agreement with NCAAA to renew institutional accreditation and apply for 11 program accreditations

    UBT obtained the program accreditation of two of its programs by NCAAA in the college of Business Administration ( HR & Insurance and Risk Management)

    Renewing the international accreditation of the Bachelor of Science in Finance program by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) for the period 2024-2027 AD

    Getting approval for the Initial data by EFMD for both SCM & HRM programs

    The College of Business Administration has successfully passed the eligibility stage for international accreditation by AACSB

    UBT improved its ranking in the global impact ranking to the top 300 universities for its efforts toward realizing UN Sustainable Development goals of Decent work and Economic Growth

    UBT is ranked as 43rd and 51st in the QS Arab Region Ranking in the standards of International Students and International faculty members and gained an excellent ranked overall (101-110)

  • 2024

    The Bachelor of Science in Accounting program has been awarded international professional accreditation by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for the period 2024-2028.

    UBT renewed the Institutional Accreditation for the third time in a row and became fully accredited by NCAAA for the period from November 2024 till Oct 2031

    UBT ranked for the fourth consecutive year in the QS Arab Region Ranking (81-90)

    UBT was rated again for excellence and retained the 5 Stars rating in the internationally recognized QS Stars rating system. UBT was awarded five stars overall – as well as on an individual basis for its teaching, employability, internationalization, facilities, inclusiveness and Academic Development.

    Five programs of the College of Engineering have been evaluated as qualified and eligible for ABET accreditation

    UBT was among the top 82 universities in the Arab world- the Arab Universities Ranking for 2024. As a result, it stands out as the leading Saudi private university according to the private companies’ system in this ranking and is ranked ninth among Saudi universities overall

  • 2025

    UBT has advanced more than (60) ranks since the university’s first classification in the QS ranking of the best Arab universities. Its classification for the year 2025 settled at 67th place out of a total of 246 Arab universities

    The MSc Accounting and Marketing programs obtained full Program accreditation by NCAAA.

    The Master of Engineering Management obtained program accredited by NCAAA

    The MSc Finance, Human Resource Management and Supply Chain Management programs, as well as the MBA program, obtained program accreditation by NCAAA.

    The Bachelor of Law program obtained Program accreditation by NCAAA.

    UBT ranked among the top 300 universities worldwide for SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. Additionally, it secured the third position among Saudi universities for SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. This progress reaffirms UBT’s dedication to sustainability principles, its active role in supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and its alignment with global trends in education and development.
