Strategic Advertising Management Concentration

This concentration will provide the educational background for graduates aspiring to assume leadership positions in the advertising industry as account managers, account executives, account planners, etc., or who desire to pursue further doctoral studies in these or related fields. The program design will focus on providing students with strategic thinking, creative problem solving, research-oriented, and analytical skills to succeed in these positions. 


Strategic Advertising Communication Concentration 

This concentration will provide the educational background for graduates aspiring to assume leadership positions in the advertising industry as media strategists, media planners, media buyers, media researchers, etc., or who desire to pursue further doctoral studies in these and related fields. With its emphasis on the media link in the advertising chain, the program design will focus on providing students with the strategic thinking, creative problem solving, research, negotiation, and analytical skills needed to succeed in the media-buying landscape. 


Strategic Advertising Creative Design Concentration 

This concentration will provide the educational background for graduates aspiring to assume leadership positions in the advertising industry as creative strategists, art directors, designers, copywriters, etc., or who desire to pursue further doctoral studies in these and related fields. With its focus on those who actually create the advertisements, the program will provide students with the conceptual, creative, and practical skills needed to succeed in these positions as well as the research and analytical. 


General MSc in Advertising Requirements 

The General MSc in Advertising degree option will provide the educational background for graduates aspiring to assume leadership positions in the advertising industry but who do not have a particular preference for any of the other three concentrations. Students in this concentration can select courses from each of the concentrations to build a portfolio of courses that best suits their intended career paths.   


To pursue this option a student can select elective courses freely from the three pools of elective courses offered.
