Dr. Bandar Altubaishe is an Assistant Professor and the Program Director of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) at the University of Business and Technology (UBT). He is an active researcher with a particular interest in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Sustainable Supply Chains, Total Quality Management, Industry 4.0 (Artificial Intelligent and Blockchain), Business Analytics, and Agri-food Logistics. Dr.Altubaishe earned a B.S. in Business Administration from King Abdulaziz University and Post-Graduate in Supply Chain Management from the North Carolina Agricultural and Technology State University.  He obtained his MS in Supply Chain Systems and Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering specializing in Enterprise and Supply Chain Services from the North Carolina A&T State University.

Dr. Altubaishe believes in combining the theoretical background in SCM/OM disciplines with practical examples from real case scenarios and encourages students' critical thinking, interaction, and active participation via presentations and other class activities. He is also an advocate of Blended Learning and Flipped Classroom modes.

Dr. Altubaishe has worked at operational and managerial levels in academia and privet sectors across Saudi Arabia and the USA. He is backed up by 25 years of practicing Supply Chain and Logistics, Project Management, Teaching & Training, Quality Improvement, and Consulting. He holds several professional certificates such as PMP, RMP, BAP, KPIs, BSP, BCE, and AI from well-known institutions.
