Admission Requirements


Applicants to the Master of Law program must:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized Saudi or international university.
  • Demonstrate good conduct.
  • Provide two academic recommendations from previous faculty members.
  • Obtain approval from their employer (if applicable).
  • Pass an interview conducted by the graduate admission committee (if required).
  • Achieve the required score in the General Aptitude Test for University Graduates.
  • Submit English language proficiency (if the applicant is a non-native Arabic speaker).
  • Secure equivalency from the Saudi Ministry of Education if the bachelor's degree is earned from a non-Saudi institution.
  • Achieve a minimum GPA of 3.25 out of 5 in undergraduate studies and a satisfactory grade in major field courses.

Non-specialized applicants must also:

  • Provide documentation proving acceptance of their qualification and/or valid residency.
  • Pass prerequisite courses determined by the committee, offered by accredited Saudi universities or through Saudi cultural regulations abroad, and approved by relevant authorities.

Eligible Academic Backgrounds

  • Bachelor’s degree in law or legal studies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sharia (from Saudi Arabia or abroad)
  • Bridging diploma in Legal Studies combined with a Public Administration degree (must hold a prior bachelor’s degree)
  • Graduates of security colleges
