Overview
Dr. Mohammad Kanan is an experienced Associate Professor
with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. He
holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Wichita State University, Kansas,
US. where he also served as a faculty member for several years. Dr. Kanan is a
skilled educator and researcher, with expertise in Analytical Skills, Statistical
Quality Control, Design of Experiments, supply chain management, Software
Quality, Design for Six Sigma, and all systems engineering areas. He is also an
accomplished public speaker, having presented his research at numerous
conferences and seminars around the world.
Currently, Dr. Kanan serves as Vice Dean of scientific
research at the University of Business and Technology. In this role, he is
responsible for overseeing the university's research initiatives, including
securing funding, managing research projects, and promoting collaborations with
other institutions. Dr. Kanan is passionate about advancing knowledge in his field
and works tirelessly to support the efforts of his colleagues and students in
achieving their research goals.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kanan has published numerous
papers and articles on topics related to his research interests. He is a
sought-after peer reviewer for several top-tier academic journals and has
served on numerous editorial boards. Dr. Kanan is also a dedicated mentor and
advisor, helping to guide the next generation of scholars in their pursuit of
academic excellence.
In conclusion, Dr. Mohammad Kanan is a highly regarded
academician whose contributions to the field of industrial engineering have
been significant. His expertise in statistical quality control, design of
experiments, and other systems engineering areas has helped to advance the
field and improve our understanding of complex systems. As Vice Dean of
scientific research and development, Dr. Kanan continues to play an
instrumental role in facilitating groundbreaking research and supporting the
academic pursuits of his colleagues and students.
