Alumni Association Message

At the University of Business and Technology (UBT), we are committed to staying connected with our graduates, who have played a pivotal role in shaping the university’s legacy. Graduation does not mark the end, but rather the beginning of a lifelong relationship with UBT.

The UBT Alumni Association is dedicated to sustaining alumni connections and leveraging those relationships to support the growth and development of our current students. Our four main objectives are:

  • Enhance alumni engagement within the UBT community.
  • Monitor and track alumni career trajectories.
  • Leverage alumni networks to provide career mentorship for students.
  • Celebrate and promote alumni success stories.

With 25 years since our founding, we are proud to have graduated over 12,000 students, many of whom hold leadership positions across the public, private, and third sectors. In line with our university slogan, “Education for job opportunities and entrepreneurship,” numerous graduates have become successful entrepreneurs, creating job opportunities and contributing to the growth of the Saudi economy through their products and services.

This newsletter is a celebration of our alumni who continue to strengthen their bonds with UBT—whether through knowledge transfer, industry partnerships, or community development programs.

We are also thrilled to announce the launch of the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award, where alumni can nominate themselves or fellow graduates for recognition of outstanding contributions in industry, entrepreneurship, and/or community development. This initiative serves to honor those graduates who have made significant contributions to their fields whilst remaining engaged with UBT.

We are proud to create spaces that connect the past to inspire the future, continuing to build on UBT’s greatest assets – its alumni!
