About IPA
Overview
The department of IPA was established on 4th July, 2025. At the University of Business & Technology, UBT operates under the direct purview of the Office of the University President. Since its inception, the IPA has aimed to expand global cooperation and enrich students’ international exposure. It offers opportunities to study abroad, earn transferable credits, and engage in cultural and academic experiences. IPA also welcomes students from ERASMUS+ and partner universities. International partnership affairs at UBT involve collaborations with global institutions to achieve shared goals in education, research, and community engagement. These include student and faculty exchanges and collaborations, and MOUs signed with other international universities.
The Strategic Impact UBT is committed to international accreditation and recognition. Through IPA, the university seeks affiliations with reputable institutions worldwide, enhancing diversity and academic offerings. The initiative supports UBT’s goal to prepare globally competent graduates.

International Partnerships Affairs offers services and activities to UBT students engaged in one of the many studies abroad/student exchange programs and summer programs, as well as students spending a semester or two at UBT. The IPA coordinates all existing international programs and works on expanding relations with foreign universities and widening the scope of programs.

SUMMER PROGRAMS - 2025
IPA - UBT is committed to offering UBT students global exposure and academic excellence. This year we had 4 summer programs. Which were successfully initiated and completed. Programs allow students of various academic, personal, and cultural backgrounds to embark on a journey of learning and earn credit hours through various courses mapped previously with partners

PROGRAM FOR INCOMING STUDENTS
- The International Partnerships Affairs (IPA) has begun planning a program to welcome international students to UBT, allowing them to enroll in courses offered at the university. This initiative is being developed in collaboration with Dr. Kholoud Bajnaid, Vice Dean of the College of Business Administration (CBA), who is actively supporting the effort, and IPA is coordinating with other UBT colleges to ensure that course offerings are aligned with the academic needs of incoming international students.
- Currently, IPA is in the process of hosting students from Yala Rajabhat University in Thailand. In addition to this, IPA has initiated communication with existing partner institutions and is reaching out to other universities worldwide to invite their students to study at UBT.
- IPA is also in process with the Ministry of Tourism, Saudi Arabia.
